Key and tempo come off the release. Energy, groove, mood and vocals are Mixgraph’s read of the audio. The chemistry is the join — it belongs to the pair, not to either track.

Every key sits at one of twelve positions. Records one step apart share almost every note, so the blend holds. Jump further and you get the lurch a room can hear.
That is the whole of harmonic mixing, and it takes ten seconds to see. You do not have to learn it to use Mixgraph — the engine already has. But this is the picture that makes the rest make sense.

That is the wheel’s classification. A suggestion row is coarser: it says “Perfect Camelot match”, “Adjacent or relative key – smooth blend” or “Creative key move – mix quickly or use effects” — so a tritone and a distant key both arrive as that third one.

Common questions
Is Mixgraph free?
The builder, Live Mode and the whole catalogue of over 440,000 tracks are free, plus every tool on the site, which needs no account at all. Pro is £7.99 a month and removes the limits.
Do I need to understand keys to use it?
No. Every match explains itself in plain words. Most people learn the theory by reading those explanations rather than the other way round.
Can AI build a DJ set that actually mixes?
Only if something checks the handoffs. A language model on its own predicts plausible track names — it has no idea whether 9A follows 5A. Here the model proposes and the engine scores every candidate against the record before it, discarding clashes before you see them. Three builds a month are free.
How does it decide two tracks work?
Six dimensions per handoff: harmonic key, rhythm and tempo, energy, groove, mood and vocal clash. The scores are tuned against transitions rated by real DJs.
Can I use my own records?
Import your Rekordbox library with Pro and plan only from tracks you own, then export the finished set back to your gear as Rekordbox XML, M3U or CSV.
